“If you're in need of at-home euthanasia services for your pet, I can't recommend Dr. Kee highly enough. It takes an incredible person to do such a difficult job, and Dr. Kee does it with aplomb. She didn’t rush us and never attempted to upsell. She asked about Augustus and patiently listened to all my stories. Yesterday, I received a lovely card in the mail with Augustus’ paw prints and a letter that she made a donation to Mizzou’s Veterinary program in his memory. Clearly, compassion isn’t simply in the name of Dr. Kee’s business, but in her heart as well. Thank you so much. I am forever grateful.”

"Dr. Kee helped us show our love for our much-beloved little Spike by helping us think about the guidelines for his quality of life and by helping him gently out of his discomfort. I think it was the most loving and respectful choice we could make to help him...Spike never liked being at the vet's office and he made that especially clear when he became irreversibly ill. We rather suddenly had to shift into "what would Spike want" mode. He wanted comfort...He wanted to be and stay in his own home. With Spike's comfort as the priority, Dr. Kee eased Spike into his next life. We got Spike's ashes. It feels right to have some in our/his yard. And as Spike enjoyed daily walks we took some ashes and sprinkled some at his favorite spots. Do what feels right for you and your companion pet. If you are going through this, we send our sympathy and understanding~~~"

“On April 28, 2026 my sweet Emily 12.5 yrs old was at home when she was put down by Dr. Laura Kee, DVM. She was assisted by a veterinarian nurse. They came in and made me and my family feel very comfortable with this sad situation. We had a great conversation about dogs and their love and companionship, laugh a little and cried a little. They answered all our questions since this was the first time ever doing this. I can’t imagine doing this any other way. Emily was in her own environment, she had no anxiety and loved all the treats. She is at peace now running with all the dogs in heaven. Thank you Dr. Kee for putting me and my family at peace.”

"When you get a pet, there's a very good chance you will be eventually faced with the heart-breaking decision of when and how to send your beloved friend on their final journey. After having to make that dreadful drive to the Humane Society on four previous occasions, we finally found Dr. Laura Kee at Compassionate In-Home Euthanasia!!! With her kind support, we were able to say goodbye to our wonderful Belgian Malinois, Belle, under less stressful, more "compassionate" and dignified conditions. Thank you Dr. Kee."

"Doctor Kee is the only vet we would allow to put down one of our beloved pets. We recently had to put down our best buddy BOMBER. As a loved member of our family, we realized that this would be a difficult period, and reached out to Doctor Kee. We had utilized her special and compassionate service a few years back for a family members pet. We were truly moved at her class, compassion, and professionalism during that sad event, and vowed to use her again for our own pets when that dreaded moment arrived. Even though the distance was outside her normal range, she agreed to come down on short notice. There are no words to describe her exceptional, caring approach having to compassionately end the pain for a pet that we truly loved and considered a part of our family. She knows and truly understands this... she makes the unbearable...bearable. We won’t use anyone else for that difficult moment...period! Thanks Doctor Kee, and God Bless You! ... bye to our buddy Bomber. Go get your bear buddy!"

"On the worst day of my life, I had to make the most difficult phone call of my life. On the other end of that call was a calm, truly understanding, empathetic voice. It was Dr. Kee. I was referred to Dr. Kee by a co-worker who had recently experienced the loss of his dog. Dr. Kee was the steady hand and voice of our heart-wrenching “goodbye”. Helping Millie across the rainbow bridge, in the comfort of her favorite front yard, on a beautiful day, was the best we could have hoped for. We are very grateful to Dr. Kee, and her assistant, for gently guiding Millie, and us, in the most supportive and caring way possible. We were so lucky to have found Dr. Kee. Without hesitation, I would highly recommend her and the process she undertakes in the comfort of your pet’s home, to anyone who would ask. We will always miss Millie, but will always remember the beautiful way Dr. Kee helped us say goodbye."
